I recently caught this huge Samson fish close to 40 kilos while fishing with my Dad and a Mate who came down from Cairns for a visit. This was my first time Jigging and this was caught on my first drop. I was exhausted after battling this beast of a fish but kept fishing and caught a total of 6 Samson fish. The next day at work was a struggle as we were all very sore.
